Secondo album di Moby per Deutsche Grammophon dopo il successo di "Reprise" (2021). Scavando ulteriormente nel suo catalogo, Moby ha reimmaginato quindici dei suoi brani più iconici per realizzare "Resound NYC". L'album contiene canzoni che Moby ha scritto tra il 1994 e il 2010 mentre viveva a New York City: le nuove versioni presentano un suono potente e vibrante. Dalla sublime disperazione di "When It's Cold I'd Like to Die" (l'originale è stato inserito nel recente finale di "Stranger Things" di Netflix) allo stomp maniacale di "Extreme Ways" (meglio conosciuto come tema del film "Jason Bourne"), i brani rielaborati esplodono con un'energia senza limiti. Tra le star ospiti di "Resound NYC" troviamo Nicole Scherzinger, Gregory Porter, Ricky Wilson (Kaiser Chiefs), Mylene Farmer, Amythyst Kiah, Lady Blackbird, Dougy Mandagi (The Temper Trap) e altri ancora.
